The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds - picture book for young children that encourages kids to, “Just make a mark and see where it takes you.” Teaches artistic exploration and confidence.
The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires - great picture book for teaching elementary age children the value of persistence and how to learn from mistakes.
When Pigasso Met Motisse by Nina Laden - picture book for elementary age kids that teaches acceptance of others, conflict resolution, and how to appreciate different styles of art.

Art Class Curator - resources for talking about art with kids. Some paid content, but offers a lot of free videos, PDF downloads, and blog articles covering art history and appreciation.
Art for Kids Hub - YouTube channel featuring family-friendly draw-along lessons. Multiple difficulty levels; lots of great holiday art activities; all lessons can be completed with supplies you probably have on hand already (paper and any writing/drawing implement).
Monika Zagrobelna - tutorials for more advanced artists, especially for those interested in drawing animals. Teaches both digital and traditional techniques.
