Sara Vander Wall

Hello! I am one of the co-owners of Creative Haven Studio, along with my husband of 14 years, Matthew. We have two amazing girls who both love to create with us. I am AZDE certified in PreK-12 Art Education. I have a combined total of 6 years of teaching experience, including elementary and intermediate visual arts, high school ceramics, and sewing and quilting classes for both kids and adults. I have painted several murals recently, and hope to add more to my portfolio. My non-art-related interests include cooking, hiking, camping, and reading. I love science fiction, fantasy, and anything that sparks the imagination!

Matthew Vander Wall

Computer data analyst by day, tinkerer by night, I strive to teach my kids creative problem solving skills. I love to dabble in robotics, AI, and 3D printing. My other interests include music, literature, and retro video games. I love sharing all my crazy projects with my girls, and hope to bring some STEM learning to Creative Haven as well.
